I feel the same way. Since the sixth season up until the end of the series Chris was ruined for me completely. In the first seasons I actually liked him a lot. I didn’t agree with how he handled the relationship with Lorelai and, clearly, he was kind of an absent parent to Rory but he tried to made that up and -at least with Rory- he did. My problem is how they destroyed his character in the end. Well, I don’t know if they actually destroyed it or simply showed some of his true colors when it came to Lorelai and that’s what killed him for me. How whiny, how selfish and how pathetic he became settling for something that clearly was a lie from the get go. I always got the feeling that he never truly believed Lorelai’s actual feelings for him -always talking about the post-Luke era- and he settled for them anyways. That and all the crap he did letting Emily control him the way she wanted killed him completely for me. Grow a pair Chris. Although I felt sorry for him at the same time, and I wanted to punch him in the face as well. Lots of negative feelings this character. Damn you latter seasons of Gilmore Girls.

It’s unbelievable how many people are cheering this scene. Really, I think it’s terrible. You know who should’ve been doing that? FUCKING TARA. I get that Jax is mad, the bitch needed a serious stop ‘cause she was acting like she owned the place when the truth is just that she was a replacement for a blow-up doll and, on top of that, she threatened his family with a fucking gun (not that I ever consider the idea of Ima actually using it, ‘cause she is clearly a character that doesn’t have the balls to do that). I GET all that, believe me. She needed someone to make her understand she needed to NEVER do that again. But, I’M SORRY, I don’t think this was even remotely the way of doing it. I’m pretty sure he could’ve scared the shit out of her without breaking her fucking nose. I understand that this is a show that shows reality in all its forms, that doesn’t have any fucking taboos and I fucking love that. Really. I LOVE that. That’s why I think this scene is MAGNIFICENT and says a lot and, knowing all the pressure Jax’s under and what she did, I don’t think that it couldn’t have gone any other way. But far be it from me to cheer this horrible scene. Or to celebrate how fucking misogynist Jax can be sometimes -or the entire club to be fair. Now if Tara was the one breaking her nose… I would’ve been down with that.
Also, and just to be clear, this is not going against anyone in particular. Is just MY opinion about this scene that didn’t really settle with me.

mindoverchatter replied to your post: Call me an ignorant but who’s whitney cummings?

I’m probably one of the few that gave that show a chance before declaring it not funny. Don’t get me wrong, I love Whitney Cummings, but I just think the show’s awful (must be the writing). 2 Broke Girls, however, is pretty good.

Oh no, believe me, that I get. But at least you gave it the chance before and you didn’t jump into the hate-wagon. Calling her comedy “sexist” and what not. That’s the way she does comedy, what the fuck were people expecting?
Anyways, I only watched the pilot for the show -I was waiting until they decided if it was going to get canceled or if they were going to give it a second season before I jumped into yet another show that ended up being canceled- and that’s why I decided to wait. So, I don’t really know if the show is any good. Of course I’ll check it out mainly because now I’m curious if it’s really that awful as most people make it to be haha but it would be a shame because I find Whitney quite funny to be honest. I’m not sure if she can pull off a sitcom, but I guess I’ll have to wait and see.
And, by the way I wouldn’t call her style of comedy sexist per se. There’s SO MANY shows out there that are truly sexist but the fact that she is a woman apparently means she has to have an agenda or something, if she doesn’t, if she’s just being funny, that means she’s sexist all the time. It’s just comedy. I don’t know, I don’t get it. Yet again, I haven’t seen the show aside from the pilot, so I don’t know. Maybe I’m talking out of my ass here.

And, to me, 2 broke girls is not as bad as I thought it would be, what I don’t like is the cast. The only ones that really make it worth watching for me are Kat Dennings and Garrett Morris. And that’s sad because I think that with a different cast, that show could be really, really good.

The Playboy Club got canceled? Well…

Warning: kinda mad/annoyed ranting after the cut, I’m just gonna hide it a little so I don’t mess with people’s dashes.

More irrelevant ranting about SOA

I find it completely ridiculous how I keep reading about people thinking that dealing drugs with the Cartel is too much for the boys. Or that the racism Juice related arc is also too much or out of context. Really people? Are we watching the same show or what?

Oh wow. Can people stop comparing The Playboy Club and Pan Am to Mad Men?

“Backing my prez and VP” UGH! Yeah because you lost the guns. I just have a lot of feelings… my beautiful club breaking : ‘(

I’m right there with you. I was so happy by the end of last season that they decided to keep Kozik as one of the members, ‘cause I was honestly looking forward on knowing a little bit more about his relation with Tig and the whole mess with the dog. But now I’m thinking that I’m happy that Kenny got the lead in Prime Suspect. Such a lack of balls, dude! Plus, that whole response was so desperate. Couldn’t you just say: “yey” and that’s that. Saying “Backing up my Prez and VP” sounds more like “I’m sorry bb, please forgive me for the mess I made with the guns, k? Pretty please?”. Sorry, I’m insanely emotional. Damn you, Kurt Sutter.

I’m team Chibs, Piney, Happy, Juice, Bobby and Gemma this season. FUCK THE WORLD.

OH MY GOD DORYLUS.

Just… Sons of Anarchy tonight. I need to get all of this out of my chest. I’ll put everything under the cut so that I don’t spoil anybody.
Note to anyone who’s bored enough to read: don’t expect well formed sentences and don’t expect a lot of sense making. ‘Cause I’m about to bang my head against the wall already and we’re only on the third episode of the season.

Unpopular Opinion time:

straightedgevillain:

I really think the Ryan Dunn joke is being blown WAY out of proportion. I don’t know if you all realized, but an Amy Winehouse joke was made during that roast too. You can’t rightly get pissed about one, and not the other. The joke was a bit tactless, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal. Calm the fuck down.

I think that what most people are pissed off about is the fact that Amy did that joke to Steve-O and I get that. Doing a joke like that to one of his best friends… well, it’s kinda heartless. But what most people don’t realize is that this is A ROAST. I’ve heard SO MANY things that are worse than this on a roast… just, watch the older stuff, the stuff pre-Janet Jackson, before the FCC became so anal about stuff and when comedy central wanted to pay an entire panel of actual comedians instead of picking popular people to fill the ratings. This is what a roast is about, disrespecting each other, bulling each other, fucking each other and all in the name of comedy. That’s not your kind of comedy? then, don’t watch a fucking Roast!

Also, and I WON’T get tired of pointing this out: Amy, Jeff, Seth and Anthony were Greg Giraldo’s friends and colleagues and they make jokes about him all the time to each other. The same thing in previous roasts with Lisa Lampanelli and Whitney Cummings. Why doesn’t anyone call them on that? Simple: because Greg’s death wasn’t as popular as Ryan’s.
Also, was it also terribly awful to do an Amy Whinehouse joke or a Michael J. Fox/Parkinson joke? No. Because they weren’t bashing said people, they were using that as tools to bash on the people that are on the panel, the people that signed up for the roast and that -technically- know what they were signing up for.

Don’t get me wrong, when I heard Amy doing that joke… well, I was pissed off. But that’s my initial reaction because watching Steve-O with that sad look on his face was heartbreaking. But… then I chilled and thought about it for two seconds and realized that it wasn’t that big of a deal. It’s all for comedic reasons. At least not in my oh so humble opinion.

There, I’m not gonna talk about this anymore. I already got like 3 anons calling me a dick, a cunt and an idiot. Loved it.

Did Amy Schumer just poke fun at Steve-O about Ryan Dunn’s death?

youhadafastlife:

hazelxeyedxbeautyx:

Joke OR not.. Just leave dead people out of the roast.

Mike Tyson should of punched HER.

Just saying.

I wasn’t amused at what Seth MacFarlane said about Amy Winehouse either.

i was almost angry about the amy winehouse joke until i realised it was more poking fun at charlie. he was implying amy had talent and charlie didn’t. no disrespect to amy. unless you find the fact that she has an obituary as offensive.

^ I feel the same way. At first I was offended about the the Amy Winehouse joke, until I realized it wasn’t at all disrespectful to her, it was full on a Charlie Sheen joke. And the Ryan Dunn joke wasn’t funny to me, but because you could totally see it in Steve-O’s face that he was truly sad about someone even mentioning Ryan’s death.  Also, to be fair, they use Greg Giraldo’s death in almost every roast. And most of the comedians in the panels knew and respected him a lot. It’s just comedy. No one was laughing about these people’s death, they were just using it to make fun of people that are still alive.

Also, I miss when real comedians who knew how to roast where on the panels. Don’t get me wrong, it was funny but I think it says a lot when I think back an realize that the best things of the night aside from Jeffrey Ross were William Shatner and Kate Walsh. And Seth, of course, but technically he wasn’t part of the panel.
