Hanging out, getting ready
It was a busy weekend, or at least they were keeping busy. They had gone out the night before and now they were getting ready at the Spitz’ house to go to yet another party. They thought about skipping it, but they decided to show up at least for a while, but before that they had to talk about the horrible outfit Gaby had picked for the night before; and since her chosen job was to make Jay’s life a living hell, it was the ladies turn to have a little fun of their own.
-I didn’t see her, I was too busy keeping Zacky from jumping head first into that cheese fountain thing- Jay spoke from her bedroom, while she got ready. -Was it bad?- she asked, walking to the bathroom to join her friends.
Kris put down the mascara and looked at her reflection. -Yeah. It was all even upsetting.- She laughed. -And she had some shiny I-don’t-know-whats in her hair that were supposed to look cool but were really, really bad.-
-I can’t believe you of all people are being nice about this.- Val spoke looking at Kris in disbelief, and then turned to Jay. -I have no idea what she was thinking. I mean, we might not be fashion experts or what-the hell-ever, but even a blind guy could tell it was a bad, bad choice.- She laughed a little -That thing had so much volume it made her look like a psychopath lion from the 80s-
-Oh my god- Izzy laughed out loud over that reference. She had seen Gaby and she knew Val was completely right, which made it all funnier.
-That sounds bad- Jay answered, fixing her hair, imagining what her friends were telling her.
-It was… It was horrible- Val answered, keeping a small grin on her face.
