Day After Day AU, pt.1
↳ The same man.
Honestly it took me more than one viewing of Journey’s End and its Confidential to buy into Rose and the Metacrisis. Then, I don’t know what clicked, suddenly they became IT and I just couldn’t seem to get enough of this couple.
Maybe it’s because there’s so much unknown about them but so much we already kind of DO know. They can be anything. They can do anything. And since we left them at the beginning of their journey, we can imagine them — the Doctor and Rose — on any new adventure we want.
We can imagine them being in their own TARDIS because of the somewhat-canon-deleted-scene of the Doctor giving them a piece of the original. We can imagine them working at Torchwood. We can imagine them living an everyday life. Married and having twins named Gal and Deb. As organic farmers.
They’ll have arguments about ‘HAAAVING’ to go over to Jackie and Pete’s every Friday for dinner. But telling Tony about a trip to an art gallery in the Andromeda galaxy and being kidnapped by anti-robot extremists and seeing Tony’s wide-eyed wonder makes it worth it.
She’ll be a bit annoyed by having to send ANOTHER suit to be dry-cleaned when he comes home after encountering a tourist from the Shuralian system who belatedly discovered that Jammie Dodgers didn’t agree with Shuralian digestive systems. But when the Shuralian sends them a basket of home-baked goods as a thank you and those turn out to be quite the best basket of home-baked goods she’s ever had, she realizes she’s really not all that upset.
Maybe there are parallels of Martha, Sarah Jane, Donna, Wilf, Adelaide, Captain Jack, Gwen, Ianto, and other characters we’ve come to love.
Basically, with them, we can take our imagination…. and RUN!
Timmy’s tone always makes me literally laugh out loud during this sketch.
Backstreet Boys perform “It’s Christmas Time Again” on Disney Parks Christmas Day Parade.
You—you can’t leave me, Bobbi—not after we just found each other again! You saved all our lives…
And, well… isn’t that kinda the whole point? No doubt - endings are hard. But then again, nothing ever really ends, does it?
And I can fool Giles. And I can fool my friends. But I can’t fool myself.
you should go read these right now

I’m sorry… How she hated those words in his mouth. Everything was her fault: her sources double-crossed them and the simple meeting in a car park ended up in gunfight and -his- blood all over the ground, the mark disappearing with the briefcase.
But it was Clint. He has always felt responsible for her since the day he brought back an ex-KGB spy to the SHIELD and Fury said: “Fine, but she is under your responsibility Agent Barton.” Things have changed since then, except him.
She silently swore to rip the heart (and probably some other useless organs) out of this mark.
